To take the next step on this journey, we’re proud to team up with them! Beginning in 2026, Schijvens collections will feature regeneratively grown cotton, cultivated in close partnership with tribal farmers in India’s Eastern Ghats.

Meet Simhachalam, the farmer who is growing cotton for Schijvens
Simhachalam remembers the hardships of chemical farming—where middlemen dictated prices and exposure to harmful inputs took a toll on both his health and his income. But everything changed when he began working with Raddis® Cotton. Through hands-on support and knowledge-sharing, he transitioned to regenerative farming—reviving the soil, cutting input costs, and securing a healthier future for his family.
Crucially, this transformation wouldn’t be possible without committed brand partners who see beyond short-term transactions. With Schijvens’ long-term perspective and dedication to sustainable sourcing, Simhachalam now sells his cotton at fairer prices, free from exploitative intermediaries. His livelihood is more stable, his land is thriving, and his community is gaining strength.
