Transforming Mindsets:
Embracing Circular Co-Creation in Textiles
At Circular Textile Days 2025, Raddis unveils in close collaboration with the CTD-Team an outfit that goes beyond fashion — it embodies the entire circle of natural textiles: from regenerative farming to reuse, from re-value to re-wear, and finally, back to the soil.
This year’s outfit for the CTD-Crew and shown at the innovation gallery is the “New Crew T”, a former fair shirt given new life. Originally made for another event, it now returns as part of a re-use journey at CTD. Dressed in REST-of-the-BEST Raddis®Cotton, upgraded with CTD’s bold water-based print — “waste is not waste until we waste it” — it symbolizes the transformation we need in our industry: extending value, not wasting potential.
Paired with a virgin regenerative Raddis®Cotton draped skirt, made from 20/1 CCH yarn and not designed for landfill, but to nourish the soil at the end of its life — this outfit brings the vision of a textile future that regenerates, reuses, and restores life.

Why REST-of-the-BEST?
The shirt’s material tells its own story of circularity. Made from:
70% cotton comber noils — high-quality post-production Raddis®Cotton waste, combined with 30% virgin Raddis®Cotton,
Made with 25/1 open-end yarn. Naturally warm in color, free from bleaching or dyeing, it carries subtle specks of cotton seed — reminders of its origins, which fade gracefully over time.
Every shirt did come with a Farm-to-Fan Product Passport, accessible via QR code. This passport invited wearers into the reuse loop, refresh it with natural dyes and let it be reborn as a “Double Best” shirt. In this way each wearer becomes a co-creator in extending the loop.

Transparent Origins, Tangible Impact
This cotton is cultivated in regenerative food-and-fiber landscapes of the Eastern Ghats, India, by tribal smallholder farmers within the Raddis® System. Each shirt even bears discreet GPS coordinates printed on the logo, allowing wearers to trace the journey back to its very beginning.
The Power of Regeneration
At Raddis, regeneration is a practical approach that guides every step of our work. It means improving soil health, increasing biodiversity, eliminating toxic chemicals and GMOs, protecting animal welfare, and ensuring fairness across the supply chain.
Cotton grown this way does more than provide fiber: it helps store carbon in the soil, supports smallholder farmers with secure livelihoods, and strengthens ecosystems for future generations.
